Shippon Barn is my top choice in Yeovil. Early check in was a breeze. Perfect for my needs - Wi-Fi, free parking, cycling, and pet-friendly. Can't wait for my next city break.

The room at Shippon Barn was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a backpacker like me. I loved the homely feel and the rustic decor that added a touch of charm. The bathroom with a bath or shower was a luxurious treat after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the bathroom with just a shower a bit disappointing. But hey, that's just my preference, and others might still enjoy it.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy decor of the hotel. The attention to detail in the general areas was impressive, with beautiful furnishings and tasteful decorations. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with wide hallways and easy navigation throughout the property. It made moving around and enjoying the facilities a breeze.
Perhaps the only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a handrail in the shower. The children working there were wonderful and helpful, but this small addition would have provided an extra sense of safety and comfort for older guests like myself.

Great hosts. Fab location. Very easy to find the property in a lovely quiet setting close to shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Loved the country walks. The property was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with everything you need during your stay. The log burner added a cozy touch. The private garden and allocated parking were a bonus. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
My Christmas stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were amazing, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The hosts were awesome and the location was top-notch. We had a blast visiting Longleat Safari Park and it was only a short drive away. The barn itself was super clean and had sick decor. The beds were mega comfy and we even had a wicked log burner to keep us warm. Can't recommend this place enough for a sick weekend away!
Only one small thing, we wish there was a cool game room or entertainment area for us party-loving teens. It would've been even more lit if we had a spot to hang out and have some fun with our friends.

Stayed at a 4-star holiday home, enjoyed the free WiFi and had fun cycling nearby. The nearest airport was so conveniently far, and the attractions were, well, mildly interesting.
Yeah, right, like there was anything to not love about this place. Perfect, really.
